In this thesis we are concerned with the arithmetics on the elliptic curves over finite fields, in view of practical implementations. We describe two well-known algorithms for counting the number of points on elliptic curves over finite prime fields. We also present the computer implementations of the algorithms.
본 논문에서는 유한체 위에서 정의된 타원곡선의 성질을 실질적인 계산 위주로 살펴보았다. 소체 $F_p$ 상에서 정의된 타원곡선 위에 있는 점의 개수를 세는 방법으로 잘 알려진 두 개의 알고리즘을 소개하였으며 이러한 알고리즘을 구현하는 프로그램을 만들어 컴퓨터로 원소의 개수를 구해 보았다.
