This paper suggests the event-driven requirement specification methodology. Requirement specification has been popular research topic. But most of the research focuses on the developer's view. Good requirement specification results from the concrete business requirements. By this reason, This paper focuses on the user side and business requirements.
To facilitate more user participation, this paper uses the business event concept and business scenario. Business Event is the occurrence to trigger business process and Business Scenario is the sequences of the business processes for responding triggering event.
This Event-driven approach can be more efficient and effective method to identify business requirements. 3 cases are applied to validate the methodology.
