We investigate electromagnetic scattering from a parallel-plate waveguide which is doubly corrugated with rectangular grooves. The Fourier transform and mode-matching approach is used to constitute simultaneous equations for the modal coefficients. The residue calculus is utilized to represent the transmission and reflection coefficients in rapidly-convergent series. Numerical computations are performed to illustrate their frequency characteristics in terms of corrugation geometry. The series solution is applied to the problems of scattering from corrugated rectangular waveguides and microstrip lines.
이중으로 사각형 홈이 있는 평행도파관내에서의 전자파 산란을 해석하였다. 본 논문에서는 평행도파관을 크게 세가지의 영역으로 나누어 푸리에 변환과 모드 정합, 그리고 경계조건을 이용하여 문제 해결을 위한 연립 방정식을 도출하였다. 위의 결과를 바탕으로 residue calculus를 이용하여 빨리 수렴하는 투과 및 반사 계수를 구하였다. 수치 계산의 결과로 corrugation이 있는 구조물의 주파수 특성을 확인 하였다. 위에서 구한 해는 corrugation이 있는 구형 도파관과 microstrip line에 적용할 수 있다.
