In general, the IR FPA can be subdivided into the detector array, and the readout electronics, these components are often realized in different materials and mated together using the hybrid IR FPA technology. In designing the readout integrated circuit(ROIC), as the limit of a sensor is determined by noise, noise reduction is necessary.
In this thesis, the noise of the readout circuit had made for HgCdTe IR detector was analyzed by transient response method and the results showed that the total ROIC noise is dominated by charge transfer amplifier noise. For reducing the total ROIC noise, some methods were suggested and we could know that the suggestion is effective to reduce total ROIC noise by the simulation results.
