This thesis illustrates implemented "Real time wireless RF transceiver and MODEM Test Beds". This test beds has 3 features. First, this test beds has RF/IF hardware verification and emulation functions. This feature enables to verify functions of RF/IF circuits & terminal in the system level. Second, this test beds has verification function for baseband digital signal processing algorithms in the system level. Third, this test beds has real time hardware channel emulation function and field test capability. "Real time wireless RF transceiver and MODEM Test Beds" has 2 parts. First part is baseband software development stage. This part is implemented with general purpose computer. General purpose computer has reliability and generality. But, real time baseband software simulation environment does not support because of CPU processing speed limitation. Second part is RF/IF hardware verification stage. This part is composed of basestation transmitter and terminal receiver. Now, this test beds has verification function for "Wideband CDMA 1.25MHz system."
For performance analysis of this test beds, measurements was done. Items of measurements were the correlation of process gain and BER performance, terminal mobility and BER performance, channel environments and BER performance. From the measurements and performance analysis, this test beds were in accord with commercial CDMA system in functionality.
