New type sensor using $Ag_2SO_4$-base solid electrolyte was developed. Solid electrolyte was fabricated by adding 1mol% $K_2SO_4$ in $Ag_2SO_4$. Pt and $V_2O_5$ were used to make working electrode. The experiment for various Pt-$V_2O_5$ working electrode was performed and the experiment for different thickness of solid electrolyte was performed also. In result, response time is decreased with increased Pt. Response time and recovery time were affected by $SO_2$ concentration and temperature. But response time was more influenced by $SO_2$ concentration and recovery time was more influenced by temperature. The response time and recovery time were not varied by different thickness of solid electrolyte, and thus it was concluded that the diffusion rate in solid electrolyte was respectively rapid.
