As a technology for improving the quality of human life and competition power of industrial products, it is considered important to develop Sensibility Engineering Technology. Thus a computer program for factor analysis and quantification analysis was developed and used to evaluate sensibility.
The objective of this study is to show how to evaluate human's feeling about the product design by the program. In this paper, various wrist watches were examined using this approach. twenty-two samples were evaluated using semantic defferential method, factor analysis, and quantification analysis. Results on the influence of items and attributes of wrist watches on the adjectives were summarized.
The process and consequence of this study will be applid to sensibility measurement and product design process.
