Light harvesting complex plays a crucial role in absorbing light energy and transferring it to the reaction center. Recent research have highlighted the significance of considering environmental effects in investigating the energy transfer process. This thesis describes the interaction of electronic and nuclear degrees of freedom, utilizing potential energy surface interpolation method and a mixed quantum-classical method. My research investigated the fluctuation in the excitation energy of the pigment molecules induced by the anharmonic vibrational motions of an all-atomistic bath. I decomposed the fluctuations in terms of molecular motions to establish a corresponding harmonic oscillator model. Furthermore, I utilized both the all-atomistic bath and its harmonic oscillator representation to illustrate the energy transfer process between pigment molecules. This underscores the influence of anharmonic characteristics in the energy transfer process and shows that the established harmonic oscillator model can offer insights into the molecular mechanisms that influence energy transfer process.
