‘Tokenized Deposits’, which are tokenized bank deposits using blockchain technology, are similar in nature to deposits and are subject to the same level of regulation. Therefore, expectations are rising as an alternative that can minimize the side effects and instability of retail CBDC and stable coins. In this thesis, we used the PPM model to analyze what factors influence financial consumers' intention to convert to Tokenized Deposits. As a result of the analysis, it was found that smart contract and digital asset compatibility among the Pull factors and individual innovativeness among the Mooring factors had a significant impact on the intention to switch Tokenized Deposits. The significance of this study is that it presents practical implications on what policy authorities and financial institutions should focus on in order to revitalize Tokenized Deposits in the future.
