Social enterprises, owing to their emphasis on social impact over financial gain, often grapple with limited resource capabilities and face challenges in achieving long-term sustainability, setting them apart from their commercially-driven counterparts. As a result, there exists a notable dearth of prior scholarly investigations into the resource mobilization capacities of social enterprises. This research endeavors to address this gap by centering its inquiry on social entrepreneurship as a pivotal catalyst capable of enhancing the resource mobilization capabilities of social enterprises. The hypothesis posited herein is that the level of social entrepreneurship is positively correlated with the resource mobilization capacity, thereby exerting a consequential influence on the overall product competitiveness of social enterprises. Through this study, it is anticipated that insights into the growth determinants of social enterprises will be gleaned, shedding light on the distinguishing attributes of social entrepreneurship. Furthermore, the study seeks to introduce a nuanced dimension to this exploration by introducing technology orientation and the reputation of the social entrepreneur as moderating factors, thereby broadening the applicability of our findings within the intricate landscape of the social enterprise ecosystem.
