The wide-area, high-resolution imaging enabled by non-invasive optical coherence tomography (OCT) is commonly employed in the examination of biological tissues. Particularly, in Swept-Source Optical Coherence Tomography (SS-OCT), the development of Stretched-Pulsed Mode-Locking (SPML) laser has ensured ultrafast scanning speeds ranging from several megahertz to tens of megahertz, along with phase stability. Consequently, this has opened the possibility of exploring Optical Coherence Phase Microscopy (OCPM), a technique previously predominantly associated with Spectral Domain OCT (SD-OCT). The utilization of SPML in OCPM offers a significant advantage by dramatically increasing the scanning speed from the conventional several kilohertz to several megahertz to tens of megahertz. In this context, our research aims to develop a non-invasive phase microscopy for inspection with a resolution in the sub-nanometer range, utilizing a 5 MHz SPML. We have attempted to design Fizeau and Michelson interferometers that can reliably measure interference patterns against external perturbations.
