Since 2019, with the increased use of Social Networking Services(New Media) for knowledge demand and the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020, some experts have adopted video content as one of the production means for communication of knowledge. As the quality of knowledge supplied through new media improved, the public became as familiar with its content as they deal with traditional TV media. However, as the easy way to producing information in modern new media, the creation of stimulating content, and the influence of algorithm-based recommendation AI have led to the continuation of traditional media's drawbacks, including partisan biases in media consumption, as well as an intensification of echo chamber effects and confirmation bias. This study analyzes the content published on science communication channels on video platforms like YouYube, a prominent example of social networking services, and its causal relationship with the partisan tendencies of channel viewers, as well as its impact on the effectiveness of science knowledge dissemination, especially focused on viewers of science communication channels.
