This thesis describes a continuous-time sixth-order Elliptic low-pass filter implemented in a 0.8-μm CMOS process. The magnitude and phase characteristics of the filter meet the specifications for the anlog processor that used in CDMA cellular phone system. This filter is built from fully balanced Gm-C technique and with an on-chip tuning circuit using simple switched capacitor method. The filter exhibits 0.5dB pass band ripple, 50dB stop band attenuation and dissipates about 7mW power.
