From the middle of 1980s, the most of military demand requirement decreased in Korea. So, Korea Defense Industry faced on difficulty of management as the production rates decline.
Government restructured the Defense Industry structure. As the result, final assembly firm was two, necessary part assembly firm was one.
This structure does not consider the war time situation and Defense weapons specificity and so forth.
The purpose of this thesis is to suggest the improvement of Defense Industry in the view of supply chain management. The nature of our analysis is more descriptive than normative.
The first objective of this thesis suggests the framework of supply chain management in Defense Industry. The second objective suggests analyzing framework of supply chain structure from published theories. The Third objective suggests the improvement of Korea Defense Industry structure through the analyzing framework of supply chain structure.
