The reliability of automated driving systems (ADS) heavily relies on the accuracy of sensor data. Despite the existence of known sensor attacks targeting the sensors used by ADS, previous research has lacked a comprehensive evaluation of ADS against such attacks. To address this research gap, we performed comprehensive evaluations on an ADS testbed, specifically targeting camera saturation attack, color stripe injection attack, and LiDAR saturation attack. Through these evaluations, we successfully identified four distinct vulnerable designs within the design of the ADS. Additionally, we proposed and implemented countermeasures to mitigate the impact of sensor attacks, emphasizing the importance of robust security measures to fortify the resilience of ADS in real-world situations. By combining the construction of the ADS testbed with the evaluation of sensor attacks, this study provides valuable insights into the vulnerabilities and potential mitigations for enhancing the security and reliability of ADS.
자율 주행 시스템의 신뢰성은 센서 데이터의 정확성에 크게 의존한다. 자율 주행 시스템이 사용하는 센서를 대상으로 하는 알려진 센서 공격이 존재함에도 불구하고 이전 연구에서는 센서 공격에 대한 자율 주행 시스템에 대한 평가가 이뤄지지 않았다. 이러한 격차를 해결하기 위해 자율 주행 시스템 테스트 베드에서 카메라 포화 공격, 컬러 스트라이프 주입 공격 및 라이다 포화 공격에 대한 실험을 진행했다. 이를 통해 우리는 자율 주행 시 스템 설계 내에서 4개의 취약한 설계를 발견했다. 또한 센서 공격에 대한 대책을 제안하고 구현해 보임으로써 안정성을 위한 보안 조치의 중요성을 강조했다. 본 연구는 자율 주행 시스템 테스트 베드의 구성과 센서 공격의 평가를 결합함으로써 자율 주행 시스템의 보안 및 안정성을 향상시키기 위한 귀중한 통찰력을 제공한다.
