Healthcare data is increasingly exposed to external threats due to digitalization, the reuse of datasets, and advancements in information technology. Consequently, the consent process in biomedical research has become a major concern, and the limitations of the traditional consent model have been highlighted. As a result, dynamic consent was introduced. However, despite the various benefits it offers, dynamic consent is not widely adopted, and there is a lack of empirical support for the concept. In this paper, we aim to fill this gap by developing a conceptual framework that analyzes user perception and continuous intention to use dynamic consent. To achieve this, we constructed a questionnaire to measure several items. Our findings confirm the hypothesis made and indicate that perceived controllability, perceived privacy/security, and perceived switching costs are factors that positively affect continuous intention to use. These findings provide a deeper understanding of the differences perceived by participants and explain the reasons why they are willing to embrace dynamic consent over a traditional consent model. Therefore, future research should provide further empirical support to the dynamic consent process.
의료 데이터는 디지털화, 데이터셋 재사용 및 정보 기술의 발전으로 인해 외부 위협에 점점 더 노출되고 있습니다. 이에 따라 생물의학 연구에서의 동의 과정이 주요 관심사가 되고 있으며, 기존의 동의 모델의 한계가 부각되고 있습니다. 그 결과, 동적 동의가 도입되었습니다. 그러나, 그것이 제공하는 다양한 이점에도 불구하고, 동적 동의는 널리 채택되지 않고, 개념에 대한 경험적 지원이 부족합니다. 본 논문에서는 동적 동의를 사용하고자 하는 사용자 인식과 지속적인 의도를 분석하는 개념적 프레임워크를 개발하여 이러한 격차를 해소하고자 합니다. 이를 위해 설문지를 구성하여 여러 항목을 측정하였습니다. 우리의 연구 결과는 가설을 확인하고 인식된 제어 가능성, 인식된 개인 정보 보호/보안 및 인식된 전환 비용이 지속적인 사용 의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 요인임을 나타냅니다. 이러한 결과는 참가자들이 인식하는 차이를 더 깊이 이해하고 전통적인 동의 모델보다 동적인 동의를 기꺼이 받아들이는 이유를 설명합니다. 따라서 향후 연구는 동적 동의 과정에 대한 추가적인 경험적 지원을 제공해야 합니다.
