Ultrasonography is one of the commonly used diagnostic techniques due to its feasibility of imaging various organs and blood vessels inside the human body with a faster and cheaper way than magnetic resonance techniques and computed tomography techniques. Capacitive micromachined ultrasonic device has the advantage of having a wide bandwidth and a small difference in acoustic impedance compared to piezoelectric devices used in conventional ultrasound diagnostic techniques, and thus are in the spotlight as a material to replace piezoelectric devices. In this dissertation, the fabrication process, electrical characteristic evaluation, sound pressure characteristic evaluation, and imaging characteristics of an annular capacitive type device manufactured by a micro fabricating method will be evaluated to eventually lower the systemic load in 3 dimensional ultrasonography.
초음파 영상 기법은 자기공명기법과 컴퓨터 단층촬영 기법에 비해 빠르고 저렴한 방법으로 인체 내부의 다양한 장기 및 혈관을 영상화 할 수 있기에 보편적으로 사용되는 진단 기법중 하나이다. 정전용량형 방식의 미세소자의 경우, 기존의 초음파 진단 기법에 사용되었던 압전 소자 대비 넓은 대역폭과 음향 임피던스 차이가 적다는 이점을 지니고 있어, 압전 자를 대체할 물질로 각광받고 있다. 본 학위 논문에서는 미세공정 방식으로 제작한 환형 구조의 정전용량형 방식 소자의 공정 과정, 전기적 특성, 음압 특성 및 이미징 특성 등을 평가하며, 이를 통해 시스템 부하를 줄이는 효율적인 3차원 영상 구현에 기여함을 목적으로 한다.
