The conceptual assumption of BPR(Business Process Reengineering) Process is the cross-functional business flow in terms of the customer. This concept has several specific properties additionally. Author restricted the research scope to the stage of Definition and Selection of BPR Process. This stage corresponds to the first part of the BPR main stream. This stage can be divided into major sub-stages. The first sub-stage is Definition of the BPR Process. in which the task of discriminating the major process and establishing its area must be done. The second sub-stage is Selection of the BPR Process. in which the task of giving the reengineering execution ranking must be done. In the existing BPR process definition methodology there is no objective criteria which can be used as the dividing guidelines of the long process which can not be implemented at one time. And the existing BPR process selection methodology lacks tightly-coupled connection. Consequently, this research aims at constructing the top-down and systematic methodology which presents the objective criteria of BPR process.
