Fiber distribution, which changes due to the consolidation behavior of the composite during the manufacturing process, is one of the important factors in determining permeability which is the most important flow characteristic of the manufacturing process. Because many data are needed to explain the variation caused by fiber distribution, a permeability prediction model that can obtain it quickly and accurately is needed. In this study, a fast and accurate permeability prediction model was developed through fluid domain simplification. The Delaunay triangulation using the center of the fiber was applied to divide the fluid region as segments. The flow between the fibers was modeled by applying a lubrication approximation to the shared edge between segments. To satisfy continuity, a method for solving an electric circuit was applied using electric circuit analogy with a stokes flow problem. The performance of the developed model was verified depending on the fiber volume fraction and the minimum inter-fiber distance which is corresponding to the simulation domain generation parameter of the composite. On average, it was confirmed that a model with an accuracy of 97.74% and reducing the calculation cost about 1,700 times was developed.
