As investors' interest in the Korean stock market has heated up since the 2020 pandemic, the daily trading volume of KOSPI and KOSDAQ is more than five times that of pre-pandemic trading. Meanwhile, as the financial crisis caused by the pandemic temporarily comes, financial authorities are adjusting interest rates through monetary policy. Therefore, this study will study how conditional liquidity risk factors using credit spreads that can reflect the financial crisis can affect stock returns. The study consists of a correlation with the FF3 factor for the liquidity risk factor and a cross-sectional analysis process with other economic variables. As a result of the study, it was found that the liquidity risk factor had a positive correlation in the stock return, but the conditional liquidity risk factor had no significant correlation with the stock return.
