For the ITC(integrated tube components) process in manufacturing the color picture tubes(CPT), the screen characteristics of the CPT such as brightness, color purity, color convergence, focus and so on, need to the measured and adjusted for better quality products.
In measuring the color purity and convergence, it is known that the previous methods are found to take much time for measurement and are lacking in uniformity of measurement results.
In this thesis, a couple of algorithms are suggested for accurate and real time measurement of color purity and convergence, have been applied for a real measurement system.
