Two methods for reducing acceleration sensitivity of hydrophone used for towed array sonar is presented. The first is using difference of voltages that occur between center part and side parts of piezo ceramic when we divide piezo ceramic of hydrophone into three parts and hydrophone is subjected to acceleration force. The second is using difference of electric charge that occur between center part and side parts of piezo ceramic. The result is analyzed by finite element method and reveal that the proposed methods is very effective in reducing acceleration sensitivity of hydrophone.
