People are relieved and get social support by sharing stress with people around them. But the COVID- 19 pandemic, where offline interactions have been drastically reduced, makes it challenging to share the stress and reach peer support. There have been digital tools to allow people to share emotions and peer support. However, most current digital tools for peer support focused on the better quality of support, and there are few attempts to bring opportunities to reach online peer support. In this study, we built a network of communities, , where members of a local community spontaneously disclose stressful life events in the form of keywords on a daily basis. We conducted a 5-week user study with 223 university students and interviewed 30 among them. helped people to be aware of community stress by providing community stress trends. With the increase of emotional awareness, people got accountability to support each other. We contributed the design implications for digital tools for the before-phase of mental health problems and community-level socially translucent systems.
사람들은 주변 사람들에게 스트레스를 털어놓음으로써 안도감을 느끼고 사회적 지원을 받는다. COVID-19 전염병으로 인한 대면 상호작용의 감소로, 스트레스를 털어놓고 사회적 지원을 받는 것이 어려워졌다. 감 정을 공유하고 지원을 주고받을 수 있도록 돕는 디지털 도구들이 제안되어 왔지만, 대부분 더 나은 사회적 지원을 제공하는데 초점을 맞추고 있으며 지원을 받을 기회를 제공하려는 시도는 거의 없다. 본 연구에서, 우리는 지역사회 구성원들이 스트레스를 키워드형태로 공유할 수 있는 모바일 앱인 스트레스 트렌드미터를 설계했다. 대학생 222명을 대상으로 5주간의 실험을 실시했고, 그 중 30명을 인터뷰했다. 본 연구는 지역 사회 스트레스 경향을 제공하여 사람들이 지역사회 스트레스를 인식할 수 있도록 도왔다. 정서적 인식이 높아지면서 사람들은 책임감을 갖고 서로를 도왔다. 우리는 정신건강 문제의 전단계와 지역사회 차원의 사회적 반투명 시스템에 대한 앞으로의 연구를 위한 설계 고려사항을 제시한다.
