As video streaming platforms have been one of the fastest growing media platforms among internet users and relevant industries recently, their market size is dramatically increasing. Game industry is one of the most affected markets, and majority of game companies are utilizing streaming platforms such as Youtube and Twitch for marketing their brand new mobile games.
In this paper, we analyzed whether sentiments of user comments on Youtube contents have any correlation with performance of mobile games.
비디오 스트리밍 플랫폼은 지난 십 여년 사이에 인터넷 사용자와 미디어 시장에서 가장 빠르게 성장하는 미디어 플랫폼 중 하나로써 이의 시장 규모가 크게 증가하고 있다. 게임 산업은 이러한 플랫폼들을 빠르게 적용하고 있는 시장 중 하나로서 많은 게임 회사는 신규 게임의 마케팅 수단으로써 유튜브(Youtube), 트위치(Twitch)와 같은 스트리밍 플랫폼을 활용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 유튜브의 컨텐츠에 대한 사용자 댓글의 감성 분석 결과가 모바일 게임의 성과와 어떤 상관 관계가 있는지 분석하였다.
