As interest in environmental pollution grows, policies to induce participation of companies in the supply chain are becoming important. Green Credit Policy (GCP) in South Korea is environmentally friendly regulation that enables manufacturers to reduce pollution from suppliers to create additional value. In this dissertation, I investigate the environmental performance under the GCP with the perspective of the supply chain. In the first study, I examine the impact of manufacturers' efforts on the environmental performance. Also, I study the impact of the supply chain structure on the environmental performance if the supplier is able to participate indirectly. In the second study, I investigate the impact of suppliers' capability on the environmental performance. Through this, I conduct a study what the participants in the supply chain do under the GCP, and seek for the optimal strategies of companies and effective policy directions of the government.
환경 오염에 대한 관심이 커지면서 공급사슬 내 기업들의 참여를 유도하기 위한 정책이 중요해지고 있다. 그린 크레딧 제도는 제조업체가 공급업체의 오염을 줄여 추가적인 가치를 만드는 제도이다. 본 학위논문에서는 그린 크레딧 제도 하에서의 환경적 성과를 공급사슬의 관점에서 바라보고자 한다. 첫 번째 연구에서는 제조업체의 노력에 따른 환경적 성과에 대해 알아본다. 더불어 공급업체의 간접적인 참여에 따른 공급사슬 구조의 환경적 성과에 대해 알아본다. 두 번째 연구에서는 공급업체의 역량에 따른 환경적 성과에 대해 알아본다. 이를 통해 그린 크레딧 제도 하에서 공급사슬 내 참여자들의 행동이 어떠한 환경적 성과를 나타내는지 살펴보고, 기업의 최적 전략과 정부의 효과적인 정책 방향을 모색한다.
