Crime and disorder arising from various socio-pathological phenomena caused by rapid changes to socioeconomic development have given rise to social instabilities that has become a threat to the general public security. This study examines the correlation between the data from “Smartpohne reporting app for daily inconveniences,” which allow the gathering of up-to-date and accurate environmental data on crime, and actual crime rate centered on 25 autonomous districts in Seoul in order to verify whether the data from the app has significance as an independent variable in crime prediction research. Through multiple regression analysis using independent variables derived from empirical research using CPTED theory, this study presents an optimal real-time crime prediction model and its validation using actual crime data.
급변화하는 사회·경제적 발전에 따라 야기되는 각종 사회병리 현상들로 인하여 발생하는 범죄와 무질서의 문제는 민생치안을 위협하는 사회불안을 이야기하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 환경변화를 통해 사전에 범죄를 예방하는 것이 더욱 중요시되는 사회에서 범죄예방 환경설계(CPTED) 원리에 근간하여 최신성이 있고, 정확한 범죄 발생 환경요인 취득이 가능한 “생활불편신고” 데이터가 범죄 예측 연구의 중요한 요인(독립변수)으로서 영향력이 있는지 검증하기 위해 서울시 25개 자치구를 중심으로 범죄 발생률과의 상관관계를 확인하고, 기존 CPTED 이론을 활용한 실증연구를 통해 추출된 환경요인(독립변수)들과 함께 다중 회귀분석을 실시하여 최적의 실시간 범죄 예측 모델을 제시하고 범죄 발생 데이터를 통해 모델을 검증한다.
