Electronic safety and arming devices (ESADs) is applied to aircraft such as missile, which guarantees safety during storage and transportation of missiles, and generates an firing signal to generate an firing current when an ignition situation is recognized. This is very large and has very fast rate of change characteristics, which causes serious noise problems in the peripheral circuit. In this paper, noise coupling paths in the electronic safety arming device through simulation and propose a noise reduction design guide according to the noise coupling path. To analyze the noise coupling path, simulation methods based on system electric field and magnetic field probe concept is proposed to analyze the dominant noise coupling path. Based on noise coupling paths, design guides to reduce inductive noise and capacitive noise are proposed. Through the noise measurement in the time domain for the proposed design, proposed noise coupling analysis method is verified that the proposed noise coupling analysis method can predict the dominant noise coupling path in the ESADs system.
