Dividend cash flow of value stocks generally reacts more sensitively than growth stocks during economic recession periods. Since it implies that value stocks have more risk exposures to business cycle, business cycle itself can be considered as a priced state variable to explain the returns from value premium. Conventionally, bond factors haㅍㄷ known as statistically significant indicator to forecast the future economic activity in U.S. This fact indeed originates a new no-arbitrage model, which has significant power to price book-to-market-sorted portfolios of stocks and maturity-sorted bond portfolios in U.S. This research provides some empirical results whether the asset-pricing model works effectively in the Korean stock and bond market. Moreover, this research exploits the effectiveness of CP factor when it comes to its significance on business cycle and dividend cash flow in Korea.
