The main goal of research-oriented futures studies is to prepare uncertainties of futures by experts from various fields. Although the most studies are qualitative index-based approaches in which come up with unreliable and less-consensus outcome. The root of this problem is not about pursuing value and ideology of the disciplined. Because so far, not many related studies were issued, understanding the importance of it will take much time than expectation. Comparing to the time when online news information was collected for a particular technical keyword and the public sensitivity changed for that particular keyword was actually commercialized based on the emotional analysis of the corresponding comment; nevertheless, throughout the current trend in future studies, which is still dominated by expert opinions, the public’s demand is significant factor in the future. Moreover, based on technology and adoptability, a fundamental model was created to predict when certain future technologies will be commercialized and accepted. In order to lay the foundation for new impact analysis that incorporates IT technology on the assumption that the emotions of society have a great influence on futures, we select and automate some of the various methodologies existing in futures studies. The result of this study is quantitatively evaluated in the future forecasting.
미래학은 다양한 분야의 전문가들이 모여 미래를 예측하고 인류가 앞으로 당면하게 될 불확실한 미래를 대비하기 위한 연구 중심의 학문이다. 하지만 정성적인 지표 위주의 접근으로 인해 대부분의 연구가 신뢰성이 높거나 공감을 얻는 결과물이 아닌 경우가 많다. 이러한 문제는 단순히 학문이 추구하는 가치나 이념의 문제가 아니라 아직까지 다양하게 시도된 적이 없고 그 중요성이 부각되지 않았기 때문이다. 전문가 의견의 비중이 높은 미래연구의 현재는 본 연구에서 수행한 특정 기술 키워드에 대해 온라인 뉴스 정보를 수집하고 뉴스에 해당되는 댓글의 감성 분석을 기초로 하여 특정 키워드에 대한 대중의 감성의 변화와 실제 상용화되었던 시기를 비교하였을 때 대중의 수요가 미래에 상당히 중요한 영역을 차지한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이와 더불어 기술 수용성을 토대로 미래의 특정 기술이 상용화되고 수용되는 시점을 예측할 수 있는 기반 모형이 만들어졌다. 사회의 감성이 미래에 중대한 영향을 끼친다는 전제로 정보통신기술을 접목한 새로운 영향 분석을 위한 기초를 마련하기 위해 미래학에 존재하는 다양한 방법론 중 일부를 선정해 자동화하는 것을 목표로 했다. 본 연구 결과는 미래 예측에 있어 미래연구의 효율성을 극대화시키는 것에 그 목표가 있다.
