These days, low-power temperature sensors have been attracting attention, and low-power analog-to-digital converter is essential for realization of temperature sensor system. Therefore, this thesis
proposed a successive approximation analog-to-digital converter with low-power operation over a wide
temperature range (-20$^\circ C$ to 100$^\circ C$). In order to reduce leakage current due to high temperature, optimal size of width, length, and fingers of MOSFET were applied. Also, power-gating technique was used to reduce leakage current during sleep mode. In addition, to reduce the dynamic power cons㎛ption, charge-recycling technique was used. As a result, it was possible to implement a low-power successive approximation analog-to-digital converter that has a figure of merit which does not deteriorate even at high temperatures.
