This dissertation consists of three essays considering operation-related decision making issues of a firm in a supply chain. The first essay considers sequential capacity allocation of a supplier whose allocation is made in a sequential manner. We consider two alternative capacity allocations, the efficient allocation and the fair allocation to reduce dissatisfaction of the manufacturers, and compare their performance. The second essay investigates impact of supply chain contracts on environmental innovation in a supply chain. We consider three popular supply chain contracts to promote supplier’s environmental innovation and study their impacts on emission reduction and manufacturer’s profit. The last essay examines organizational structure design issue of a multinational firm (MNF) in the presence of gray market. We investigate impacts of under uncertainty in the local market’s potential and difference in the customer’s valuation between the brand product and parallel import on organizational structure choice of a MNF, i.e., centralization or decentralization.
본 학위 논문은 공급사슬 내 기업 의사결정 문제들을 다룬다. 첫 번째 논문은 공급업체의 순차적 용량분배
문제를 다룬다. 본 연구에서는 효율성과 공정성을 목적으로 하는 분배 메커니즘을 고안하고, 각각의 성과를
비교 분석하였다. 두 번째 연구는 공급사슬계약이 공급사슬 내 환경혁신에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보았다.
제조업체 관점에 입각하여 세 가지 공급사슬 계약을 비교 분석함으로써 환경혁신 및 기업이익을 효과적으로
증진시키기 위한 방안을 모색하였다. 세 번째 연구는 회색시장이 존재하는 상황에서 다국적기업이 어떠한
조직구조 - 중앙집권화 혹은분권화 - 를 가져가야 하는지에 대해 알아보았다. 시장의 수요 불확실성과 회색
시장제품에 대한 평가 수준에 주목하여 이러한 요인들이 다국적기업의 조직구조 의사결정에 미치는 영향에
대해 분석하였다.
