In this paper, a wireless transceiver for digital data communication in the frequency of 959∼960MHz is designed and implemented. The wireless transceiver consist of RF/IF system and modem. The RF/IF system consist of frequency synthesizer, mixer, amplifier, filter and antenna. Frequency synthesizers where carrier and local frequency are generated are implemented by using a phase-locked loop. For baseband modulation, this system used Gaussian filtered MSK (GMSK) with BT=0.3 or 0.5.
To test the performance of this system, I measured eye pattern and received signal strength where the carrier frequency and the bit rate are $f_c=959.5MHz$ and 19.2Kbps, respectively.
