A switch diversity system is a simple, and cost-efficient diversity system for mobile communications. In this thesis two switch control circuit for switching operation in a switch diversity system is designed and implemented using discrete IC component. This implemented switch control circuit is tested by changing the threshold voltage and reference voltage proportional to fading rate to see whether the circuit operates on switch-and-stay method or switch-and-examine method.
