This thesis presents a parallel fuzzy computer system, which is flexible in its application and can operate in real-time. The system, which is being implemented, consists of a host system and KAFA(KAist Fuzzy Accerator) for fuzzy operation. The KAFA has a single instruction multiple data stream(SIMD) architecture which has 128 FPEs(Fuzzy Processing Elements) with ring topology and a writable microprogram controller. The detailed architecture of FPE is designed at logic level and verified its functionality with VHDL simulator. This architecture is implemented using FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array).
