A new type oxygen sensor was developed using $SrTiO_3$. The Sensor prepared by thick film technology is consist of porous and fine grain size (neally submicron) and has various uses. In lean-burn area, Mg-doped oxygen sensor which added to extend p-type conduction area to lower oxygen partial pressure has better sensitivy than pure $SrTiO_3$ sensor at 600-1100℃ and low resistance. So this is attractive property for lean burn sensor. But in the case of 0.1 mol% La-doped sensor, it has constant resistance regardless of the change of oxygen concentrations at 900℃. In Rich-burn region, pure $SrTiO_3$ sensor has more sensitive than La-doped and Mg-doped sensor. Due to its fine microstructure and porosity, the sensor has fast response times less than 1 second.
