No-vent filling (NVF) refers to a technique of filling and transporting cryogenic fluids by pressure difference from a supply tank to a storage tank without ventilation. Due to the nature of the cryogenic fluid, which has a smaller latent heat of vaporization than the fluid at room temperature, a large amount of boil-off gas is often generated during the NVF process and the pressure of the storage tank is easily increased. It is very important to predict the pressure history in the NVF technique, which is a filling method using pressure difference. In this study, numerical analysis model which can predict the NVF process of cryogenic fluid which can be applied regardless of experimental conditions and working fluids was constructed by using theoretical equation instead of empirical formula in heat transfer phenomena calculation. The reliability was verified by predicting the experimental data using the working fluids (carbon tetrafluoride and octafluoropropane). The model predicted the maximum pressure in an error range of 18% in the success experimental case and predicted the success of the NVF with 100% accuracy in 40 experimental cases.
