This thesis considers an extension of the classical newsboy problems. Demand is assumed to be decreasing with time due to the declining value of its utility. It is also assumed that the supplier has the option to increase (or reduce) the product,s demand by lowering (or raising) its selling price.
The objectives considered in this study are maximization of the expected profit and maximization of the probability of achieving a target profit level. The problems are solved with continuous or discrete time approach. The validity of the models is illustrated with example problems.
이 論文은 고전적인 新聞 배달 少年 문제의 확장이다. 新聞배달 少年 문제와 같은 費用과 收益 構造를 갖는 사치성 製品이나 계절적인 製品은 時間이 지남에 따라 제품의 價値가 떨어지므로 需要가 減少하게 되고 또한 판매자는 製品의 판매 價格을 내림 으로써 製品의 판매 需要를 증가 시키는 선택권을 갖는다고 가정하는 것이 타당하다.
이 論文에서 고려된 目的함수는 기대수익을 최대화하는 문제와 그리고 주어 진 目標 수익을 成娶할 확률을 최대화하는 문제이며 CONTINUOU TIME APPROACH 와 DISCRETE TIME APPROACH 方法으로 問題를 풀었다.
