Due to the industrial development and the merit of the reduction of construction period, the regulated set cement which develops the usable compressive strength within $1\sim2$ hours is developing in our country. Because the properties of regulated set cement are very short in setting time, proper quantities of the retarder and water reducer should be used in concrete.
The purpose of this study is to investigate experimentally the workability and compressive strength properties of regulated set cement concrete with various mixture. Test variables are cement content, water content, retarder quantities. The slump and the compressive strength for 2 hours, 6 hours, 1 day, 3 days, 7 days and 28 days were tested.
As result, it was shown that the workability of the concrete can be obtained at around 45\% of W/C, and the high strength at early stage was obtained by mix design of cement content; $400\sim420 kg/m^3$, water content; $150\sim155 kg/m^3$, retarder quantities ; $0.1\sim0.3\%$ of cement.
