Increasing demands are placed on the Productivity and quality of machined parts. One trend is towards the application of super abrasives such as cubic born nitride (CBN). Its more wide spread utilization in industry has been limited to some extent by technological problems, as well as cost.
This study has been tried in order to investigate the influences from tahe grinding parameters such as grain size, bond grade, CBN CBN concentration, material removal rate, wheel speed and dressing method for vitrified CBN grinding wheel in internal grinding.
Some test results has been demonstrated based on measurement techniques and practical experiments. Through the investigation for surface layer of the ground samples, Compressive residual stress was always observed by CBN grinding wheel. From the grinding cost analysis according to the CBN concentration, Higher concentration grinding wheel had an cost reduction and quality of the product.
And also possibility for adaptive process which depends on grindding force would be anticipated.
