Ranking and selection procedures for gamma populations are developed with respect to the largest scale parameter under Type-II censoring. The shape parameters of gamma distributions are assumed to be known and equal for all the populations. Based upon common sample size and censoring number, four procedures are proposed based on the TTOT(Total Time On Test) statistic. To derive expressions for the probability of correct selection and the infimum of this probability for each procedure, a two-moment chi-square approximation is used since the exact distribution of the TTOT statistic is not known exactly.
본 논문에서는 감마(Gamma)분포를 따르는 모집단들로부터 Type-II Censoring에 의해 얻어진 자료를 근거로, 가장 큰 scale parameter를 갖는 모집단을 하나 선택하거나 또는 그것을 포함하는 subset을 선택하기 위하여 TTOT(Total Time on Test) 통계량을 기초로한 순위 선택 절차들을 개발하였다. 이때 모든 감마(Gamma)모집단들에 대한 shape parameter들은 모두 같고 알려져 있다고 가정하였다. 일반적으로 TTOT통계량의 분포가 정확히 알려져 있지 않으므로 각 절차에 대한 Correct Selection의 확률과 이 확률의 Infimum을 얻기위해 Two Moment Chi-Square Approximation이 사용되었다.
