Many applications have required temporal databases which maintain the evolution history of real world objects. The temporal databases can answer the users' query for the old data of objects. They will be also used to analysis their temporal data and then to forecast the future. Summary table is very useful for users to perform the statistical analysis, which provides summary or aggregated informations for casual users rather than professional statistical analyzers.
In this thesis, we propose a system which supports Temporal Summary Table (TST) based on temporal databases. The TST maintains many valuable aggregate data for the temporal data. Our system also provides the graphic display facilities of the data in TST for more effective analysis of informations. In this system, a new TST can be derived from other TSTs which were already created. The user interface of our system was designed in menu-driven approach and implemented on Sun Workstation 4.2 BSD Unix system using SunView and SunCGI package.
