We studied the nonlinear response of thiourea $(SC(NH_2)_2)$ to AC voltage and domain motion in ferroelectric state.
Intermittency was found in both paraelectric and ferroelectric state. Bi furcation was found only in ferroelectric state.
We also studied dielectric response of thiourea in ferroelectric state to DC field. The relaxation of dielectric constant has been recorded with different voltage and temperature. Dielectric response is considered due to domain motion. Relaxation time was found to be independent of temperature and voltage in the region far from critical temperature. The time width of DC pulse could be related to the observed relaxation time by an exponential function.
