A double-effect absorption refrigeration system, using $LiBr-H_2O$ as working fluid, was designed and manufactured. The performance of this system is examined with two temperatures, hot water temperature at the first generator inlet and cooling water temperature, and compared with that of a single-effect absorption refrigeration system. Hot water temperature was changed from 80℃ to 120℃ with respect to three cooling water temperatures, 26, 31, 36℃. The experimental results show that the COP of a double-effect absorption refrigeration system can be increased in extent to 40% than that of a single-effect absorption refrigeration system
