There occur 140,000 industrial accidents in Korea every year. The prevention of industrial accidents should be emphasized above all. But the compensation of it is also an important problem in the view of settlement of victims or survivors. The compensation procedure involves legal decision making by experts such as lawyers, physicans and claim administrators.
The purpose of this thesis is to design and develop knowledge based system for consulting of industrial accident compensations. M.l, knowledge engineering language, is selected for system development. Knowledge representation, inference process and module development method are explained with disability evaluation problem. An example of using system is shown.
