This thesis discusses about morphological analysis of korean which is the first step of machine translation system. This morphological analysis is designed and implemented with Prolog. At first, input sentence is devided into words and the morphological informations are retrieved from dictionary. The ambiguities of morphological analysis are partly solved using syntactic and semantic informations in dictionary.
Besides, this thesis solves the many problems of Korean such as verb conjugation, stem-endings modified by the phonological rules, and various usages of postposition(josa).
