The identification of dynamic cutting process is a fundamental problem in machine tool chatter research. Generally, the dynamic cutting process has been represented by the dynamic cutting force coefficients (DCFC's).
In this work, DCFC's for inner modulation (wave cutting) are measured by exciting the cutting tool with an impact hammer during an orthogonal cutting.
The experimentally measured DCFC's are compared with those by a theoretical model which uses steady state cutting data.
공작기계의 채터현상을 연구하는데 있어서, 동절삭과정의 규명은 가장 기본적이며 중요한 문제이다. 일반적으로 동절삭과정은 동절삭력 계수로서 규명하여 왔다.
본 연구에서는 수직절삭을 수행하면서 이제까지와는 달리 충격망치로써 공구를 가진시켜 인너 모듀레이션에 대해 동절삭력 계수를 측정한다.
이렇게 실험적으로 측정한 동절삭력 계수를 정절삭 상태의 자료를 이용한 수학적 모델에 의한 동절삭력 계수와 비교한다.
