There is a need of convenient input method of Chinese characters in word processing systems.
This thesis describes the design and implementation of Hangul-to-Chinese transcription system which was obtained by modifing "LANWORD2" developed by NEC.
This system transcribes Hangul into Chinese by word-destination using Machine Dictionary, and to manage dictionary space efficiently, derivative words and compound words are processed by separating them into stored words.
