Solving complex decision problems sometimes requires using extensive tree- like data structures to represent the relationships among the variables involved in the problem. Once generated, this structure must be analyzed. It is onerous task to generate and evaluate larger trees by hand.
This thesis provides a presentation of Decision Tree System that the Decision Analysis Group has developed for describing and analyzing decision trees.
Dynamic, uncertain, and complex decision situations are characterized. The importance of decision trees is emphasized through the overview of decision analysis. With concepts of tree-like data structures, the development of Decision Tree System is given.
복잡한 의사결정 문제 내의 변수들간의 상호관계는 의사결정체계 ( Decision Tree )로 구조화되어, 나무모양의 자료구조를 가진다. 의사결정 문제를 의사결정 체계로 구조화한 뒤에는 이를 분석하고 평가해 보아야 한다. 그러나 의사결정 체계의 규모가 커지게 되면 손으로 계산하는 작업에는 많은 어려움이 따른다. 이 논문에서는 의사결정 체계에 관련된 정보를 보관하고, 평가하는 컴퓨터 프로그램의 개발과정을 살핀다.
의사결정 문제를 아홉가지로 특정지워 보았으며, 이를 구조화하는 의사결정체계를, 전반적인 의사결정 분석의 관점에서 살펴 보았다. 의사결정체계를 전산화하기 위하여 나무모양의 자료구조를 살핀뒤, 컴퓨터 프로그램 작성의 밑거름인 알고리듬에 대하여 설명한다.
