The design problem of optimal output feedback controller for the linear time-invariant system is investigated with the time-multiplied performance index. Necessary conditions for optimality are derived in the continuous time domain and discrete time domain respectively and extended in the case of PID controller. Also a numerical procedure for designing an optimal observer which minimizes the time-multiplied performance index for a linear time-invariant system is described. It is shown via example that the design method using such a performance index improves the transient response of the system.

본 논문에서는 선형시불변 시스템에 대하여 시간비중 성능지수를 최소화하는 출력궤환 제어기의 설계하는 방법이 제시되었다. 최적에 대한 필요조건이 연속시간 영역과 이산시간 영역에서 각각 유도되었으며 PID 제어기의 경우로 확장되었다.
또한 시간비중 성능지수를 최소화하는 최적 관측기를 설계하는 수치적인 방법이 제시되었다.
