The image-rejection mixer for the marine radar receiver front-end is designed and fabricated.
For that purpose the passive circuits used for the mixer are designed, and their characteristics are measured in detail. Single-diode mixer and single-balanced mixer are also designed and fabricated as preliminary works.
The optimum local oscillator power level and several characteristics of the designed mixer are estimated by computer simulation, and they are compared with experimental measurements.
